Anderson & Roe: Carmen Fantasy

I really admire this duo! I've written about Anderson and Roe in the past, but am just so amazed at their inventiveness, their joy, their creativeness!

They make music so alive and sparkling. They seem to devote an incredible amount of time to preparing both their arrangements and their visual presentation. These two guys and far more than just professional pianists (I think they met at Julliard - NY): they take music into another dimension - a feast for the eyes as well as for the ears.

Listen and watch, for instance, their arrangment of Carmen: it's an utterly original and wonderfully pianistic version of the operatic areas.

Not many musicians live up to the challenges of the future: Greg and Elizabeth are surely two of the few who do!
